Tonight at midnight my pops is going to be cohosting on the television shopping network, QVC. Check him out if you’re not busy later, I think they put recent shows on the website so maybe I’ll be able to embed it, sweet. yeaa, he’s kind of a big deal. haha
Oh! and I’m going with him, totally forgot. I want to intern there next summer and maybe land a job in the studio and end up on camera.
BlahBlahBlah. Genre: Electropop. We’ve been recording for just two days and the first track was dropped this morning. The song’s called The Pelvic Thruster and is about the only dance move you need to bring to the dancefloor to make all the ladies want more.
Second song was recorded this morning but it still needs lyrics, so give it a week. ;)
I am so excited to share that Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore along with Kellogg has released their campaign video to end hunger in the United States. Just to re-cap anyone was allowed to send in videos of themselves saying certain lines (like “are you hungry?”) and Katalyst New Media (Kutchers video production team) sifted through them and put together a commercial-like video spreading awareness of the national issue.
The video is amazing and my love for Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher is through the roof.
The video was released at around 11:30 p.m. on June 21, and within the first minute I make my appearance, haha. I am honored and flattered and so appreciative to have been given the 5 seconds.
What beautiful people.
Ashton Kutcher wrote on twitter yesterday:
our hunger video will be coming sunday night. just priming the pump. http://bit.ly/puDd9
Finally there’s some word on the status of the video! I’m not sure if it’ll be on youtube or EndUSHunger.org but either way you better check it out!
We were in “the studio” one day and were day dreaming about doing shows.
“You know, we’ll start setting up and someone will ask us what our band is called. We’ll say our name is ‘BlahBlahBlah’ (insert real name there) and that’ll be history.”
Very original, I knoww. We’re keeping the space filler for now, we might grow out of it, maybe not.
We threw together a quick demo of the first song we wrote, no title, no lyrics, just a whirlwind of ideas.
Check it out, you might like it. Check it out in a week, you might like it even more.
My mom and I saw the new Star Trek movie a while back and thought it was an awesome movie. My sisters boyfriend is a huge “trekker?” and owns all the seasons of the original show and all six of the movies.
So we just finished watching the first disc of the first season and over the past week we’ve watched all six of the movies.
I guess what I can’t get over the most is how much Leonard Nimoy and Zach Quinto look alike, especially in the beginning of the original tv series.
It’s alright to be “cultured” without being called a nerd, right?
A quick video of a jam we’ve been working on in our band BlahBlahBlah.
Not sure if this is big news, well not yet at least:
Ashton Kutcher announced the start of a campaign to help people who are starving in America. At EndUSHunger.org steps are listed describing how anyone can participate in the effort.
All you have to do is record yourself saying a few things, including:
“Are you hungry? Well then eat something!” then physically eat something, then say
“Hunger is not an option, Join the community that cares!” Videos are to be sent to EndUSHunger@gmail.com or posted to Youtube with the tags: End Hunger Now
The video submissions seem to be coming to aa end as the final video sounds like it is almost finished.
So, when Ashton first made the announcement I wanted to help out the awesome campaign. I sent in a couple videos and a week later I got an email asking me to give Katalyst New Media permission to use my videos and then asked me to make another video saying more things! It was clearly written directly to me because it answered directly to things I sent in my emails!
I might be getting myself worked up for nothing but these emails are making me think my videos will be used! If the campaign gets big, like… Oprah big, what if this video is played on TV! woa, I’m excited!
I’m more excited though to see the effects of the video on the world and see awareness grow for this very important issue!
